Ingredients

Serves 2

  • 2 trout fillets (around 110g each)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch ground pepper
  • Pinch paprika or Cajun seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Method

  • Preheat the air fryer to 180C if necessary for your model.
  • Mix the salt, pepper and paprika on a small plate. Coat the trout lightly in oil, then roll in the seasonings.
  • Place in the air fryer basket in one layer (skin side down) and cook for 8-10 minutes until flaky and the skin is crisp. Sprinkle over the parsley if using and serve with a pouch of microwave rice or mixed grains and your choice of veg.
