The BTA annual conference was held on 17th/18th September in Stirling.
We were very fortunate to have Fergus Ewing to open the conference which got it off to a flying start! The conference was very well attended with a good show of fish farmers.
We have an excellent dinner in the evening with the smoked trout starter provided by Kames and wine kindly sponsored by Aquagen. The conference and the evening provided an ideal opportunity for networking within the industry and a chance to catch up with old friends.
We were delighted to present Jon Handley with the Peter Jones Memorial Award for distinguished service to the trout farming industry.
The feedback from members and government has been very positive and now gives us the opportunity to drive the BTA forward in a very focussed manner.
