Teaching about Trout

The Seafood in Schools website has a section on trout which includes information sheets and teacher resources. Seafood in schools is an exciting project which aims to teach children about Scottish Seafood; where it comes from, how it reaches our plates, and why eating seafood is good for us.

This is a partnership project with the Scottish Seafood industry and it encourages teachers at primary and secondary level to use seafood as a context for interdisciplinary learning.

The Seafood in Schools project is run by Seafood Scotland, an organisation that works throughout the supply chain to promote, market and develop responsibly and sustainably caught Scottish seafood.
